How can I help?
Private Sessions can be an amazing resource and support as it gives us the space to reflect, process, and reframe your experiences in a way that empowers you. It also offers the chance to learn some skills and strategies to live a life that is aligned with your needs and values.
My sensitive strengths for our work together include my ability to deeply empathise with you, supporting you through your struggle with absolute compassion and attuning to your individual needs. My perceptive ability allows me to get to the root of your issues and therefore help you to overcome the challenges you are experiencing.
Through my reflective nature as a sensitive psychotherapist, I have created a unique way of achieving therapeutic healing. I do this by blending both a practical and creative approach, working collaboratively with you to tap into your internal resources and empower you to make positive changes in your life.

Shared Experiences...
As a highly sensitive psychotherapist, I’ve walked the walk of sensitivity and struggle, of striving to find a way of life that honours my sensitive needs, all while letting go of the shame and perfectionism when this looks and feels different to the norm. Just as I’ve come to understand and accept myself, and to embrace my unique traits and strengths, I will help you to do the same.

Training & Experience
My undergraduate degree in Psychology is from University College Dublin after which I completed a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at University of Wales, Bangor. Following some years of working in the field of mental health, I trained in Counselling and Psychotherapy at IICP College. I am a fully accredited Psychotherapist (Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and founded my own private practice 7 years ago.
I completed a Diploma in Therapy Training & Education and have also lectured for trainee and graduate psychotherapists and psychologists in Trinity College Dublin, Dublin City University, and IICP College. I was also an Editor while on the Editorial Committee for the Irish Journal of Counselling & Psychotherapy for a number of years. My skill for creating and developing both individualised programmes and the courses within the Sensitively School are based upon my lecturing, facilitating, and editorial experiences, as well as over 15 years working in mental health in both community projects and organisations such as St. John of God.
