This weekend I choose to make an extra effort to invest in me, in my well-being, in my heart. Spending some time to do what I love, with the people I love most, reminded me of the best part of being highly sensitive…. that we feel deeply! Yes we feel the overwhelm, frustration, anger, and sadness intensely but we also feel the LOVE, HAPPINESS, CONNECTION, PLEASURE, and PEACE intensely too.
So what makes you smile? Laugh? Love? Feel connected? Do it! Soothe your nervous system. Remember the gift of having this sensitivity trait. Remember why it is great to be you, just as you are, in all your emotional intensity 💕
